Stanley Horak
Firm owner and senior attorney Stan Horak was the first generation of his family to go to college and earn an advanced degree. Stan worked his way through college and law school as a highway construction worker. He graduated with a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin in 1973 and went on to earn a Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law in 1977.
“I went to law school because I wanted to save the world. I was a bit naive back then, but I did learn that one person really can make a difference. In my first trial, I represented a group of tenants against a slumlord. We won our case and I have been successfully representing individuals against large corporations ever since. Whether you’re a victim of an accident, over your head in debt, or facing foreclosure, I can help you find a fresh start.”
Stan is an experienced litigator. He actively listens to his clients, advocates for their interests, and moves cases forward toward the best resolution possible. Providing straight forward and meaningful legal services and advice has earned Stan an excellent reputation in the Portland Metro Area. He has taught ethics and bankruptcy law classes to other attorneys and is a member of the following organizations:
- National Association of Consumer Lawyers
